There’s no hiding from the digital switch over – but it’s no biggie…
There are only 50 days to go until we lose the analogue signal in Ireland. If people haven’t taken action to receive the digital signal then their TV picture will disappear into a snowy mess on October 24th. But don’t panic – there is an alternative to buying another box to sit on top of ‘the box’.
Aertv is one of the recommended government alternatives mentioned in the official ‘Going Digital’ booklet. www.aertv.ie provides all the Saorview channels, the RTE channels and specialist movie, sport and travel channels – and is available free through an internet connection. (if you can YouTube at home you can get aertv).
You can watch aertv on your PC, laptop, tablet or even your Smartphone. You can even plug your laptop into you existing TV with a USB connection.
This morning our client Philippe Brodeur, Director of Aertv, was interviewed by Victor Barry on Cork’s Red FM on the digital switchover and clarified some the confusion that people may have and made listeners aware of some of the benefits of aertv.
Have a listen and see if you’d like to tune in to aertv.ie…
