Bvisible Communications has brokered an arrangement between social networking promotion project The Tuesday Push and the Whitespace publishing group. Whitespace will feature the online initiative across a its print publications and online media channels, some of which include www.siliconrepublic.com as well as the Digital Ireland and E-Thursday supplement in the Irish Independent.
The Tuesday Push is a coordinated effort by members of the blogging and Twitter communities to promote Irish technology and web-based businesses and products. The ‘push’ is when the participating parties simultaneously tweet and blog about the nominated SME or product creating a co-ordinated burst of awareness online.
The Tuesday Push is organised by renowned Irish web activist and blogger Damien Mulley. Participating companies are chosen based on their innovativeness, size and willingness to use their own blogs and web presence to highlight other nominated businesses.
“Big thanks to Thomas and Bernice from BVisible for putting this together and to John Kennedy in Siliconrepublic for believing in it and offering these new online and offline spaces.” Mulley said, announcing the good news on his blog.
To date The Tuesday Push has covered a range of indigenous businesses including IGO people, Reva Health and Pix.ie. In each case the business has benefited from a range of blog posts and tweets promoting their business.
