Today FM features again for our clients this week. Following a great piece on the ‘Sligo- Who Knew?’ tourism campaign on Today FM last week, Irish IT Security company Threatscape was invited onto The Last Word to talk about the growing problem of mobile phone theft and actions people can take to trace their phone if it has been stolen.

Presenter Anton Savage, standing in for Matt Cooper, asked MD Dermot Williams what people can do to help with the process of finding their phones if stolen. Some great insights from were offered including:

- how phones locked to their user’s mobile phone network can still be used in other countries

- how IMEI numbers can be modified

- how some mobile phone insurance policies have exclusions and to read the small print

- updates to IOS 7 that includes an activation lock
