12 August 2013.
The Digital Marketing Institute is extending the global reach of its certified digital training through new partnerships with educational institutions in the UK, Costa Rica and Panama. These ventures, worth €2 million, will bring the Digital Institute’s industry-led digital education programme to an additional 1,000 students over the next two years.
In Central America, the Digital Marketing Institute has chosen to partner with Cenfotec University, which specialises in digital technology studies across its two campuses in Costa Rica and soon to be launched, Panama. The university has a proven track record of providing first class ICT and digital education, offering accredited programmes with Cisco, Oracle and IBM. It was the first Central American institution to offer industry tailored software engineering programmes and will now spearhead Central America’s first formal education programme in digital marketing through its partnership with the Digital Marketing Institute.
In the UK, the Digital Marketing Institute is partnering with the North East Sales and Marketing Academy (nesma), an institution founded by Chartered Marketer, Veronica Swindale. nesma was selected as the training partner for the North East region because its teaching programme clearly reflects the Digital Marketing Institute’s own principles of recruiting top industry practitioner-lecturers and offering a flexible programme of study to accommodate working professionals.
President and Founder of the Digital Marketing Institute, Ian Dodson says:
“These new partnerships, valued collectively at over €2 million, bring the Digital Marketing Institute’s global partnerships to 13 institutions across 4 continents. We will continue to focus on growing our partnership programme, selecting the very best education institutions to teach our accredited digital marketing courses. This in turn will help bridge the global digital marketing skills gap by arming candidates with the industry-relevant skills needed to succeed in this rapidly developing marketplace.”
Veronica Swindale, nesma’s Managing Director said:
“nesma are thrilled to be adding the Digital Marketing Institute’s Diploma in Digital Marketing to our professional qualifications portfolio. We are seeing a rapidly increasing demand for digital marketing qualifications and the Digital Marketing Institute’s contemporary programme will enable us to offer a range of study options to our existing and new clients.”
Rene-Pierre Bondu, General Manager, Confotec University, says:
“In spite of a fast growing demand for professionals in digital marketing in Costa Rica and Central America, there was no formal education programme in this area, until now. Cenfotec University is honoured to lead the way in preparing certified professionals in Digital Marketing through its partnership with the Digital Marketing Institute. At Cenfotec we are convinced that the Digital Marketing Institute´s world class educational programmes will represent a breakthrough in the market, enhancing the competitiveness of our countries.”
